Abstract: Objective To summarize and evaluate best evidence for the management of post-stroke neurogenic bladder. Methods We searched BMJ Best Clinical Practice, Up ToDate, Cochrane Library, JBI, GIN, NICE, PubMed, Web of Science, China national knowledge infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Database, China Biomedical Literature Database (CBM) ,VIP database(VIP) from January of 2014 to September of 2019 for literature on evidence-based post-stroke neurogenic bladder, including guideline, best practice, evidence summary, consensus and systematic review. Four researchers independently evaluated the quality of the included guidelines and another two conducted quality assessment of the left literature. Results Ten articles were enrolled including 5 guidelines, 4 systematic reviews, and 1 expert consensus. Finally, 20 pieces of best evidence from 4 dimensions of assessment, treatment measures, complication prevention and treatment and health education were summarized. Conclusion Targeted management is needed for patients with post-stroke neurogenic bladder. Structured assessment and scientific nursing will help patients manage neurogenic bladder, thus to prevent complications and improve the quality of life.
