Introduction
Journal of Nursing (China) was established in July 1995. It is a comprehensive academic journal supervised by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, hosted by Southern Medical University, and organized by Nanfang Hospital, and it is currently the only journal designated as an “academic journal” (Xuebao) in China’s nursing discipline. Since its inception, the journal has consistently adhered to its philosophy of “advancing excellence through quality and forging brand integrity through service”, earning widespread recognition and a strong reputation within China’s nursing community.
Journal of Nursing (China) is recognized as a core journal listed in A Guide to the Core Journals of China (2020 Edition) and Source Journals for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations, and it has entered the Q1 zone in the 2020 Annual Report for Chinese Academic Journals Impact Factors of (Natural Sciences and Engineering Edition). The journal is also indexed in several prestigious domestic and international databases, including Source Journals of the World Journal Clout Index (WJCI) Report of Scientific and Technological Periodicals, the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) Database, EBSCO, CINAHL, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang Data, VIP Database, Chinese Biomedical Literature (CBM) Database, and the Superstar Journals Database. Journal of Nursing (China) has been awarded numerous accolades such as Outstanding Medical Journal of PLA, Outstanding Journal in Implementation Award for CAJ-CD Specification, Outstanding Journal of Guangdong Province, Outstanding Journal of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, Outstanding Editorial Unit (PLA), and Outstanding Journal of Science and Technology of China’s Institutions of Higher Learning. It has been honored with two collective third-class merit citations and has been designated as a recommended textbook for continuing medical education by Health Commission of Guangdong Province.

Additionally, it includes a hospital introduction column with color images and descriptive text. The journal also engages in advertising business and welcomes inquiries via phone or mail.
