Abstract: Objective To construct an interdisciplinary talent training index system for nursing postgraduates of sexual medicine in the context of “new medicine”, and to provide reference for future clinical application. Methods Through literature retrieval and review, theoretical analysis, expert interviews and clinical experience, the draft training index system was formed, and 20 experts from 9 provinces and municipalities with higher education background such as sex medicine, nursing and sex counseling were consulted by Delphi technique. Results The effective recovery rate of the two rounds of questionnaire was 83.33% and 100%, the expert authority coefficient 0.81 and 0.81, and the Kendall harmony coefficient 0.151 and 0.263 respectively. The final training index system consisted of 4 first-level, 12 second-level, 64 third-level and 28 fourth-level indicators, with an importance score of 4.250~5.000 and a variation coefficient of 0~0.228. Conclusion Combining theory with practice, the constructed training index system based on Delphi technique in this study conforms to the principle of scientificity and operability. The experts consulted are active, authoritative and have a good degree of coordination, which shows that the training index system would play a guiding role in the cultivation of nursing postgraduates of sexual medicine.
