Construction of coping-focused family resilience intervention program for breast cancer patients

Abstract: Objective To construct a coping-focused family resilience intervention (CFFRI) program for breast cancer patients. Methods The framework of a CFFRI program was constructed after theoretical research and literature review. Conduct structured interviews with nurses, patients and their families in breast cancer-related departments to form the first draft of intervention program. According to the results of two rounds of expert consultations of 17 experts in related fields with Delphi technique, the intervention program was further revised to form the final version of CFFRI program. Results The draft of the CFFRI program consisted of three systems and six themes. Structured interviews and expert consultations identified the form and content of one-to-one online family meeting. Expert authority coefficient of the two rounds of consultation was 0.822 and 0.840, respectively; the Kendall's W coefficient 0.061 (P>0.05) and 0.146 (P<0.01), respectively. Conclusion The CFFRI program for breast cancer patients constructed in this study is scientific and feasible, and can be used for home care of breast cancer patients.
