Construction of Qualification Certification Scheme for Nurse Specialists of Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Core Competence

Abstract: Objective To construct a qualification certification scheme for nurse specialists of traditional Chinese Medicine（TCM）based on core competence, and to provide reference for the qualification certification of TCM nurse specialists in China. Methods On the basis of former qualification certification scheme for TCM nurse specialists, after literature review, a new qualification certification scheme for TCM nurse specialists was constructed with Delphi method. Results After two rounds of expert consultation, a qualification certification scheme was constructed including 3 modules of certification access indicators, 12 operational projects of advanced nursing practice and 12 assessment items of certification assessment. The effective recovery rate of the two rounds of expert consultation was 100%; the expert authority coefficient (Cr) was 0.947 and 0.950 respectively, and the Kendall coordination coefficient was 0.257 and 0.308 respectively (P<0.001). Conclusion The qualification certification scheme for TCM nurse specialists constructed in this study is scientific and applicable, which can provide reference and guidance for the training and certification of TCM nurse specialists, help to improve the training quality and give full play to the advantages of TCM nurse specialists.
