Best Evidence Summary for Management of Post-stroke Depression

Abstract: Objective To select and obtain the best evidence for the management of post-stroke depression,and to provide reference for medical staffs to manage post-stroke depression.Methods We conducted research in the National Institute of Clinical Excellence(NICE),UpToDate,Cochrane Library,Clinicalkey,Joanna Briggs Institute(JBI),China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),BMJ,Best Practice Information Sheet (BPIS),PubMed,National Guideline Clearinghouse(NGC),Embase,Wanfang database,Science direct,Chinese Guideline Clearinghouse and China Biology Medicine (CBM) Construction from the inception until July 2019 involving guidelines,expert consensus,evidence summaries and systematic reviews of post-stroke depression management.The quality evaluation and evidence extraction of the included literatures were conducted by two researchers.Results A total of 17 articles were selected,including 3 guidelines,2 expert consensus ,6 systematic evaluations and 6 evidence summaries.Finally,24 pieces of best evidence were summarized from 5 aspects.Conclusion This study summarizes the best evidence for the management of post-stroke depression and provided evidence-based evidence for nursing staff.The best evidence is helpful to manage post-stroke depression and improve the quality of care in a systematic and scientific way.
