Methods Evidence-based nursing method helped to identify the problems then we searched articles pertaining to the prevention and management of postpartum hemorrhage with 6S evidence model. The literature included clinical guidelines, clinical decisions, expert consensus, and summary of evidence. Two researchers worked independently to assess the quality and extract data meeting quality standards. Results Nine pieces of evidence were included, with 1 best practice recommendations reports, 6 guidelines, 1expert consensus and 1 evidence summaries. Finally, 21 pieces of best evidence from 6 dimensions were summarized. Conclusion Clinical managers should strengthen the management of emergency treatment procedures for postpartum hemorrhage and the standardized training of clinical medical staff, improve the prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage, and reduce the incidence and mortality of postpartum hemorrhage as much as possible.
