Construction of evaluation index system for core competence of nursing specialists of pediatric infectious diseases

Abstract: Objective To construct an evaluation index system of core competence of nursing specialists of pediatric infectious diseases, and to provide reference for the cultivation and evaluation of nursing specialists of pediatric infectious diseases. Methods The framework of core competence evaluation index system of nursing specialists of pediatric infectious diseases was designed after literature review, and the system was constructed by using Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process. Results Thirty experts were consulted, and the expert authority coefficient of the two rounds of consultation was 0.934 and 0.940 respectively; the Kendall concordance coefficient of indicators at all levels ranged from 0.242 to 0.269 and from 0.251 to 0.290 (P<0.001) respectively. The final evaluation index system consisted of 4 first-level, 10 second-level and 54 third-level indicators. Conclusion The evaluation index system of core competence of nursing specialists of pediatric infectious diseases is scientific and reliable, which can provide reference for the training and evaluation of nursing specialists of pediatric infectious diseases and improve the nursing quality of pediatric infectious diseases.
