Abstract: Objective To select and obtain the relevant evidence of good limb position management in hemiplegic patients with cerebral infarction, and summarize the best evidence, so as to provide reference for nursing staff to implement good limb position management. Methods We searched the Cochrane Library, PubMed, JBI Summary, Web of Science, CINAHL, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence（NICE）,medical pulse flux, Up To Date, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, CBM database and referred to books published by National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and committee of rehabilitation nursing of Chinese Association of rehabilitation medicine, to collect evidences including guidelines, standards, recommended practices, system evaluation, original research and review. The quality of the included literatures was evaluated by 2 researchers, and the evidences of literatures meeting the quality standards were extracted. Results Thirteen articles were selected,including 2 guidelines, 1 standard, 1 recommended practice, 4 systematic evaluations, 1 case-series study, 1 review and 3 original studies. Twenty-two best evidences were summarized out of 30 evidences from five dimensions including team, training and education, time intervention, tool intervention and body position. Conclusion It is suggested that good limb position management should be implemented for all the patients with hemiplegia as soon as possible. Diversified training for nurses, standardized body position, appropriate tools and scientific nursing are important to prevent hemiplegic side limb spasm and complications thus to improve the quality of life.
