Abstract: Objective To investigate the current status and influencing factors of nurses' workplace spirituality in tertiary grade-A hospitals, and to provide reference for formulating measures to improve nurses' workplace spirituality. Methods Convenience sampling was used to select 456 nurses from 8 tertiary grade-A hospitals in Tianjin as the research objects. General information questionnaire, Workplace Spirituality Scale, Perceived Organizational Support Scale and Personal-organizational Fit Scale were used for questionnaire survey. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of nurses' workplace spirituality. Results The total score of nurses' workplace spirit was 99.08±24.54. Workplace spirituality was positively correlated with the total score of perceived organizational support, that of personal-organizational fit (r=0.720, r=0.768, all P<0.01). Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that sex, education background, number of night shifts per month, attitude towards nursing, perceived organizational support and person-organization fit entered the regression equation (P<0.01), which could explain 64.3% of the total variation. Conclusion Nurses' workplace spirituality is at a medium level. Sex, educational background, number of night shifts per month, attitude towards nursing work, perceived organizational support and person-organization fit are the main influencing factors of nurses' workplace spirituality. Improved perceived organizational support and personal-organizational fit are conducive to nurses ' workplace spirituality, which can further stabilize nursing talents and improve nursing quality.
