Abstract: Objective To complete the task of mass nucleic acid testing of COVID-19 in Nanning according to national epidemic prevention and control requirements. Methods A nucleic acid testing team was set up and emergency nursing plan was launched immediately in our hospital in January 2021 to complete the mass nucleic acid testing in Nanning. Results The task was completed as scheduled by means of strict organization, standard process, deployment of manpower, material preparation, and emergency disposal. We finished nucleic acid testing sampling collection of 38,977 people in the key area within 15h and all the samples were qualified with a collecting speed of 120 person/h and no adverse event was found. Conclusion Nursing emergency plan for mass nucleic acid testing of COVID-19 is compiled by department of nursing administration after the task was completed. And Manual of mass nucleic acid testing of COVID-19 was finished by department of nursing administration, department of medical affair and department of clinical laboratory, which provide reference for the writing of Mass nucleic acid testing of COVID-19 on all residents in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
