Abstract: Objective To integrate the existing guidelines for the assessment and management of neurogenic bladder dysfunction, and to form localized evidence. Methods Based on the ADAPTE method, a draft of clinical nursing practice for the assessment and management of neurogenic bladder dysfunction was developed. The recommendations were evaluated and integrated through successive demonstration of patients with neurogenic bladder dysfunction and relevant experts, and the official guidelines were finally formed. Results Five guidelines were integrated and included 5 topics of classification of neurogenic bladder dysfunction, history collection, relevant examinations, recommendations for catheterization and measures to assist bladder management, with a total of 20 recommendations. Conclusion This study integrates and forms high-quality evidence-based resources in the field of assessment and management of neurogenic bladder dysfunction, providing reference and basis for clinical evidence-based nursing practice.
