Abstract: Objective To investigate the current status of adjustment in enterostomy patients and to explore its influence factors. Methods With convenient sampling method, 180 patients with enterostomy were investigated by using a general information questionnaire, Ostomy Adjustment Inventory-20 (QAI-20), the Family APGAR Index, Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS) and the Benefit Finding Scale (BFS). Results The score of stoma-adjustment was 45.82±8.81. Multiple linear regression analysis showed the influencing factors were household per capita monthly income, postoperative time, mindfulness and benefit finding(P<0.05). Conclusion Stoma-adjustment level of enterostomy patients should be improved. Emphasis should be placed on patients with low income and postoperative time less than one year and more than three years. Nursing measures should be taken to improve patients&' mindfulness and disease benefit, so as to promote early adaptation of patients with enterostomy.
