Methods By convenience sampling method, 365 nursing undergraduates from one medical college were recruited and investigated with the demographic questionnaire, Kogan's Attitude toward Older People (KAOP) Questionnaire, and Facts on Aging Quiz 1(FAQ1) Scale. Binary logistic regression was used to explore factors influencing employment willingness to working in pension institution among nursing undergraduates. Results Totally 261 (59.2%) nursing undergraduates intended to work in pension institutions. Logistic regression analysis showed that native place [OR=1.662, 95%CI(1.043, 2.648), P=0.032], experience of living with the elderly [OR=1.717, 95%CI(1.018, 2.895), P=0.043] and attitude towards the elderly [OR=1.018, 95%CI(1.000, 1.037), P=0.046] were influencing factor of nursing students' willingness to working in pension institutions. Conclusion Employment willingness to working in pension institutions among nursing undergraduates is in a mediate level, and students from rural areas, those that once lived with the elderly and having positive attitude toward the elderly are more willing to working in pension institutions.
