Internet Plus-based Mobile Nurse Station combined with ISBAR Communication Mode in Shift in Operating Room

Abstract: Objective To construct an operating room shift platform based on Internet+ mobile nurse station combined with ISBAR mode and evaluate the application effect. Methods The operating room shift platform based on Internet+ mobile nurse station combined with ISBAR mode was developed and embedded into the operation management system to assist the shift of nurses in the operating room. The quality of shift, the satisfaction of nurses in operating room, the time of shift and the incidence of error and omission of shift information were compared before and after the application of the platform. Results After using the shift platform, the score of shift quality and the satisfaction of nurses in operating room in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group; the shift time was shortened; the incidence of shift errors decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Internet+ mobile nurse station combined with ISBAR shift platform helps to make the shift in operating room more organized and standardized, ensures the quality of shift and the safety of patients, shortens the shift time and improves the satisfaction of nurses in operating room.
