Construction of Nursing Quality Sensitive Indicator System in Post Anesthesia Recovery Room

Abstract: Objective To construct nursing sensitive indicators applicable to post anesthesia recovery room (PACU), so as to provide standardized basis for nursing quality monitoring and evaluation in PACU. Methods Through literature review and based on the theory of "structure quality-process quality-result quality", a sensitive indicator framework was set up. After two rounds of expert consultation by using Delphi method, the final nursing quality sensitive indicator system in PACU was established. Results Expert authority coefficient was>0.80 and variation coefficient of each indicator <0.30. Through two rounds of expert correspondence,nursing quality sensitive indicator system consisted of 5 structural indicators, 10 process indicators and 5 outcome indicators. Conclusion Nursing quality sensitive indicator system in PACU based on Delphi method is sensitive, scientific and practical, which provides guidance for the improvement of nursing quality and safety in PICU and benefits the sustainable development of PACU.
