Objective To translate the English Groningen Frailty Indicator into Chinese and examine the semantic equivalence, content validity, face validity of the translated version. Methods Groningen Frailty Indicator was translated into Chinese by two independent translators using Brislin's model. The translated version were further reviewed by 12 healthcare experts for semantic equivalence and content validity by using 4-point Likert scale. After that, 20 elderly people with various educational background were invited to comment on each item for its comprehensibility, interpretability and acceptancy. Results Groningen Frailty Indicator was translated from English into Chinese and the semantic equivalences between source language and target language were maintained. According to 12 bilingual healthcare experts, the item-level (83%~100%) and scale-level (86%~100%) semantic equivalences were both satisfactory and content validity index was 98%. Elderly participants (50% illiterate) can accept and comprehend most of the items (100% acceptance, 97% comprehensibility). Conclusion Groningen Frailty Indicator is translated into Chinese and named as Groningen Frailty Indicator - Chinese. This study provides evidence that Groningen Frailty Indicator - Chinese is an acceptable and comprehensible tool in frailty status screening for Chinese elderly people.

Objective To develop an evaluation index system of nursing problem for patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). Methods With Omaha problem classification system, after literature review, clinical data analysis and semi-structured interviews, combined with the characteristics of CHF, the content of the system and index weight of each item was identified through Delphi method and Analytic Hierarchy Process, then its reliability and validity were tested. Results The expert positive coefficient was 100%; authority coefficient 0.876 and expert coordination coefficients was 0.341, 0.353, 0.238 respectively for the three levels of indicators. The Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.789; the item content validity index ranged from 0.860 to 1 and the whole content validity index was 0.970. The final evaluation index system of nursing problems for CHF patients was formed with 4 first-, 29 second-, and 138 third-level indicators. Conclusion With the characteristics of CHF, the evaluation index system of nursing problem for CHF patients was scientific and reliable, which provides guidance for nursing assessment and the improvement of nursing service quality.

Objective To analyze the influence of development-oriented performance appraisal on midwives' behaviors. Methods Nine midwives in our department were selected as the research object. Their performance in 2017 was assessed by evaluation-oriented method and that in 2018 by development-oriented one. Personal performance indicators related to midwifery behavior and the outcome of midwifery-related spontaneous labor in the two years were compared. Results Compared with those in 2017, the average amount of work in the department undertaken by midwives, average skill assessment results, average academic articles re-posted in Wechat platform, average attendance of academic conferences and average times of praising for nursing service increased significantly in 2018, while the occurrence of nursing quality defects decreased apparently and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Meanwhile, the rate of postpartum hemorrhage, neonatal asphyxia and poor perineal wound healing decreased obviously, while the rate of labor analgesia increased significantly (P<0.05). Conclusion Development-oriented performance appraisal can effectively arouse midwives' work enthusiasm, promote positive behaviors, and it is evidently beneficial to the construction of midwifery discipline.

Objective To summarize the best evidence of cardiac rehabilitation of patients after heart valve replacement and to provide reference for domestic cardiac rehabilitation. Methods With questions developed by PIPOST, a rigorous search strategy, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were developed, we searched original research for evidence of cardiac rehabilitation in adult patients after heart valve replacement, and extracted the evidence of the literatures meeting the quality standards. Two researchers used the corresponding evaluation tools to conduct quality evaluation, evidence extraction and synthesis independently. Results Nine studies were found, including three clinical practice guidelines, one systematic review, three RCTs, one CCT and one consensus. Totally 20 items of evidence were summarized and five dimensions including assessment, comprehensive respiratory function training, periodic sport training, sport observation and health education and 17 items of best evidence were extracted. Conclusion Nursing administrators should strengthen education on cardiac rehabilitation among nurses, when choosing the best evidence, clinical environment, professional judgment of nurses and patients' willingness should be taken into consideration.

Objective To investigate the status of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of nurses and to explore its influence factors. Methods A total of 206 nurses in two tertiary grade A hospitals in Tianjin were selected from January to March 2019 and surveyed by using a general information questionnaire, Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale, Hospital Ethical Climate Survey and Core Nursing Professional Value Scale. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted for analyzing the influence factors. Results The score of OCB of 206 nurses was 101.19±10.33. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that four factors of professional practice, relationship between managers, relationship between nurses, and marital status entered into the multiple regression equation(P<0.05), explaining 59.2% of the total variation. Conclusion Nurses' OCB was at a high level. Professional practice, relationship with managers, relationship with nurses, and marital status are the main influencing factors. Emphasis should be placed on more communication between hospital administrators and nurses, harmonious relationship among nurses, and the marital status of nurses. For those married, more tolerance and care will benefit helping them keep the balance between family and work, and focus on professional practice so as to promote OCB.

Objective To investigate the current status of self-efficacy for symptom management in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and analyze its influence factors. Methods With convenient sampling method, 154 breast cancer patients from one tertiary grade A hospital were investigated from September 2017 to December 2018 by using a general information questionnaire, Self-efficacy for Symptom Management Scale, Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale and Quality of Life Questionnaire of Breast Cancer Patients. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted for analyzing the influence factors. Results The total score of self-efficacy for symptom management scale was 165.18±51.09. Multiple regression analysis showed that education background, medical payment method, duration of chemotherapy and quality of life were main influence factors of self-efficacy for symptom management in breast cancer patients (P<0.01), which accounted for 64.7% of the total variations. Conclusion Self-efficacy for symptom management in breast cancer patients is at a medium level. More attention should go to breast cancer patients with lower education level, those with rural cooperative medical insurance, those with more chemotherapy cycles and those with lower score of quality of life. Health education on chemotherapy-related adverse reactions and skill guidance for dealing with chemotherapy-related adverse reactions and targeted care measures are beneficial to alleviating the symptoms of chemotherapy, and ultimately improving the level of self-efficacy for symptom management.
