Dear Authors and Readers,

Recently, fraudulent activities impersonating our journal have been reported. We urge all authors and readers to remain vigilant and exercise caution to avoid falling victim to scams.

Based on feedback received, the primary fraudulent tactics include:

 Fraudulent emails, phone calls, or text messages claiming to be from the editors of Journal of Nursing (China) stateing that published articles require resubmission of an “Copyright License Agreement” and requesting authors to add friends on WeChat;

Calls from individuals posing as “Customer Service Staff” of the journal, requesting authors’ institutional details and contact information under the pretext of mailing “Outstanding Paper Certificate”.

Critical Reminders from the journal:

1.Journal of Nursing (China) mandates the submission of a signed Letter of Introduction and the Copyright License Agreement (with institutional stamps) prior to publication. This document must be uploaded via the official submission system; editors will not request authors to share it privately via WeChat.

2.The journal has not initiated any “Outstanding Paper” campaign recently. Any official announcements will be published exclusively on our website (www.hlxb.com.cn) and  WeChat Official Account.

3.Always submit manuscripts through the official website (www.hlxb.com.cn) .

4.The journal does not solicit manuscript processing fees via private channels. Page charges and subscription fees must be paid through the designated mini-program. For details, refer to the “Payment Instructions” section under “Submission Guidelines” on the website homepage.

5.The journal will not contact authors privately (e.g., via calls or WeChat) to request fees for electronic article copies. To download published articles, authors/readers may access Wanfang Data, CNKI, or VIP Database; Download articles free of charge from the journal’s official website.
