Abstract

Objective To analyze the research status and hotspots of foreign nurses’ subjective well-being (SWB), and to provide reference for domestic nurses’ SWB research. Methods The research on nurses’ SWB from 2012 to 2021 included in the core collection database of Web of Science was systematically searched, and the eligible literature was obtained by two-person screening and then analyzed. Results A total of 281 foreign articles related to the SWB of nurses were obtained, with 50 keywords with interception frequency >10. Five clusters were obtained through co-occurrence analysis, which were summarized into three hotspots: (1) influencing factors of nurses’ SWB; (2) intervention strategies of nurses’ SWB; (3) latest research progress in nurses’ SWB during the outbreak of COVID-19. Conclusion At present, there is still great research potential in the field of nurses’ SWB. More attention should be paid to the applied research of SWB in the future, diversified SWB intervention measures, and the changes of SWB during the outbreak of COVID-19. It is suggested to focus on the development of international research and conduct in-depth research on nurses’ SWB combined with the current situation in China.
